The Waiting Room in Eaglescliffe is a popular, homely restaurant where delicious, honest-to-goodness food has been served up for 25 years. Fresh, naturally wholesome dishes and new menus are created with each change of season. The Christmas Menu 2009 is available from December 8th.....with festive touches.

Winner of The Best Independent Restaurant in The UK Award 2008 from the Vegetarian Society, and included in the Observer Newspaper's Top 40 of all UK Restaurants in 2008, The Waiting Room is a homely restaurant serving honest, full flavoured, rustic dishes developed over the past 25 years. The first restaurant in the borough to be awarded Stockton Council's Fair Trade Award, with a fantastic range of organic wines and beers, coffee and other drinks.
